Financial Thermometer
Appeal4Apeal is a major financial challenge, but the whole village is "up for the cup".
We have to raise £170,000 ($310,000) to deliver the change bell ringing legacy for the youth of North Creake to take forward to their next generation.
We are now 30 months into our 5-year programme, 2008-2012 to ring in the Olympics
The villagers of North Creake have already raised net £87,070 -as at August 2010. WE ARE OVER HALF WAY THERE
The village rallied round to make our second Everest evening another great success. We shared the evening with our speakers who were supporting the British Heat Foundation and made over £500 for Appeal4Apeal
John & Glynis Billett opened their Glebe Barn meadows to the Cottage Garden Society and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and got donations of £400
And we recieved a large number of individual donations, Gift Aid and legacy plans. A further big thanks to everyone involved
And now we are embarked on our biggest challenge yet with our approach for significant support from The Heritage Lottery Fund later in 2010/early in 2011
Regular updates on our progress will be reported in the Appeal4Apeal Financial Thermometer.
