Appeal4Apeal is a major financial challenge, but the whole village is "up for the cup".
We have to raise £170,000 ($310,000) to deliver the change bell ringing legacy for the youth of North Creake to take forward to their next generation.
We are now 14 months into our 4-year programme, 2008-2012 to ring in the Olympics
The villagers of North Creake have already raised £78,738 ($136,000) -as at March 23rd 2009. That's a further £15,000 since Autumn 2008
John Green's fantastic lecture "Trek to Everest Base Camp raised over £700 for Appeal4Apeal. Not only an exhasuting trek but a hard working evening too for John. Thank you John; all our helpers and of course all the paying customers. All appreciated
So (as at March 2009) we have broken the £100,000 to get ,a real mental barrier. So now we have only 5-figures of £'s (around £91K to go. At this rate WE WILL SOON BE HALF WAY THERE
